Job Apply for Chrome

Apply to the job,
not the form.

Job Apply fills any application in seconds, tailors your resume to the role and writes the cover letter from your real experience. You review it. You press Submit.

How it works

Set it up once.
Use it on every job.

  1. Step 1

    Install

Add the extension to Chrome and open your dashboard once. It connects by itself. There’s nothing to configure.

  2. Step 2

    Answer once

It reads your resume, then asks the few things every form wants: notice period, salary, visa. You answer once, and never again.

  3. Step 3

Open any job and press Fill

It reads the posting, fills every field, attaches a resume tailored to the role and writes the cover letter. Then it presses Next through every step and submits.

Features

Everything an application asks for.

Fills any application form.

Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby and the forms companies build themselves. Text fields, dropdowns, radio buttons, checkboxes and file uploads, in every frame of the page.

A resume tailored to every job.

For each role, Job Apply reorders and rewrites your resume around what the job asks for, without inventing anything. It’s rendered by your resume editor, so the PDF looks exactly like the one you designed.

Cover letters from your real experience.

Written from your resume and the job description, in a plain, confident voice. Specific to the company, never made up.

Asks only what it doesn’t know.

When a form asks something new, the side panel asks you once. Every form after that is filled without asking.

Tracks every application.

Each job is saved with its tailored resume and cover letter. Mark it applied, interviewing or offer, all in one list.

Private by design.

Your access key and answers stay on your own server, never in someone else’s cloud. Nothing is submitted without you.

Questions

Good to know.

Does it submit applications for me?

Yes, if you want it to. Job Apply presses Apply, signs in, moves through each step and, when everything is filled, counts down five seconds before pressing Submit, so you can stop it and check first. It stops and asks you whenever only you can do something, like a captcha or a code sent to your email. Turn off “Submit for me” in Settings to always press Submit yourself.

Which job sites does it work on?

Any application form in Chrome: Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, iCIMS, Workable and companies’ own career sites. It reads forms the way you see them, including ones inside embedded frames.

How does it tailor my resume?

Your resume lives in your resume editor at resume.greygoose.baby. For each job, Job Apply asks it for a version that leads with your most relevant work and uses the job’s language. It only rearranges and rephrases what’s already true, and the PDF uses the same design as your editor.

What happens with questions it hasn’t seen before?

It asks you in the side panel, fills the answer in and saves it. The next form that asks the same thing, however it’s worded, is filled without asking. You can edit everything it has learned from your dashboard.

Where are my answers stored?

On your Job Apply server, next to your applications and generated documents. The extension holds only your access key. Answers are never sold or shared.

Which browsers are supported?

Chrome on Mac, Windows and Linux, version 116 or later. Most Chromium browsers with side panel support work too.
